Industrias Urcelay

Industrias Urcelay S.L. is a company located in Bº San Juan, in Bergara (Guipúzcoa), with extensive experience in the field of machining, as evidenced by the many years since the start of its operations.

Founded in 1962, it initially produced nuts through bar turning as a supplier to the thriving screw industry in the region. Later, it expanded its product range by machining precision parts using CNC lathes, grinders, broaching machines, milling machines, etc. In 2007, with the move to the current facilities, the company definitively abandoned the traditional manufacturing of nuts (automatic lathes and thread rolling machines) to focus on producing parts based on drawings using CNC-equipped lathes and machining centers.

Precision machining

Currently, we have the appropriate production capabilities to manufacture turned parts up to Ø 450 mm and 1,350 mm in length, as well as machining center parts up to 1,700x650x900 mm, with the weight of the part being the limitation for handling. The materials we work with include carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, with the corresponding heat treatments and electroplating. We also have experience with plastic materials. The strong industrial network in the area (milling, grinding, heat treatment, etc.) offers Industrias Urcelay the possibility to deliver finished parts to the customer.
